WHO IS SOFIA LEGEND ?

Unfortunately I can't sing and I don't possess any incredible skill or talent that will get me rich and famous anytime soon :((  I’m simply your ordinary girl that loves shopping, reading about Hollywood gossip and watching movies.  I currently work full time for a great Canadian company and outside of my job I venture into the Entertainment Business as an Amateur Model hoping that the world will notice this girl next door :))

It all started back on January 23, 2008 when I opened my very first facebook account.  My purpose was to act out my exhibitionist side and post racy, teasing photos of myself pretending to be my own Hollywood Star.  I thought of the consequences of a family member or close friend seeing my photos but it felt right for me!  This is my life and I only live once, I unfortunately don't have another life in the bank :))

I accepted everyone that requested me as a "Friend".  Since I was doing this all for me I didn't care much for the attention I was getting.  Of course my curiosity got the better of me so I started reading all the comments.  Most were very flattering, some made me laugh and others made me think especially when they would call themselves a "Fan".  At first I thought it was all cute but as more and more were writing that they were Sofia Legend “Fans” from this country and from that country I was getting a little uncomfortable.  All of a sudden I felt this weird pressure and responsibility.  I guess you can say I had a laying on my bed and staring at the ceiling moment.  It all felt surreal and I was not ready for this sort of attention but again my curiosity got the better of me and I wanted to know where all this attention would lead to.  It wasn’t before long that I realized that Sofia Legend was no longer “The Best Kept Secret".

On May 5, 2008 facebook disabled my account! This is where the saying "you don't know what you've got until it's gone" comes in.  I was devastated and heartbroken.  My Friends and Fans that I interacted with have been nothing short of amazing!  I have never smiled and laughed so much and so often as I have with them.  I was so caught up in trying to respond to everyone to let them know how much I appreciated their comments that I never took the time to step back and appreciate what was happening.

My two days off of facebook gave me the time I needed to appreciate and understand that Sofia Legend was slowly building a strong and loyal Fan base.  My Friends and Fans on facebook created Sofia Legend and to each and every one of them Sofia Legend is something different.  At this point it was pretty clear to me that Sofia Legend was no longer simply for me but also for my Friends and Fans.

On May 7, 2008 I opened my new facebook account but without all my messages, contacts, Friends and Fans.  Luckily I still had my facebook group which made it easier and quicker to get most of my Friends and Fans back.  I started posting less racy photos up to please facebook but things didn't feel the same.  Sofia Legend wasn't being Sofia Legend.
